As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of exploring the menu at Kyma and sampling some of their exquisite dishes. The appetizers alone are a feast for the senses, with options like Grilled Octopus, Saganaki, and Shrimp Santorini showcasing the flavors of the Mediterranean. The raw bar and simply grilled selections offer a fresh take on seafood, while the lamb chops and sirloin steak from the land options are sure to satisfy meat lovers.

The Watermelon Salad with feta and walnuts provided a refreshing and unique twist, while the Black Sea Bass and Lamb Chops truly impressed with their perfect cooking and bold flavors.

Kyma Flatiron is a true gem in the heart of NYC! If you're craving amazing Greek food with a lively atmosphere, this is the spot. The ambiance is bright, airy, and chic--perfect Mediterranean vibes! The service was excellent; the staff made us feel welcome and gave spot-on recommendations. We started with the beet salad (fresh and tangy) and spanakopita (crispy with a perfect spinach-feta filling). The oysters and shrimp were fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. For the main course, we shared the steak and grilled shrimp--both cooked to perfection, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was incredible!

Great Bar experience. Mediterranean food at its finest. I tried a bunch of different apps and had drinks as well. The lobster pastas presentation was cute and the taste was even better. Kyla seemed to be a gem of the neighborhood as the closer it got the more busy it became.

For my Birthday my friends told me that I need to go to Kyma because of the experience. As I walked in the front door, I felt like I was transported to a little restaurant in Mykonos. The white walls have shelves filled with pots and plants. We picked too visit later in the night as the DJ would be playing after 9pm. I honestly don't remember what we ordered, but we ordered most of the appetizers that the waitress recommended. The items we ate were very tasty and fresh. The drinks were also very tasty, I started off with a martini and ended up taking shots of clase. We then learned that there was a downstairs and once we entered, we entered a whole different experience. People are dancing on the tables as they swung around their napkins. We ended out getting a table down their as the girls wanted be apart of what everyone else was doing. We ordered a few bottles of Dom and were able too hold the sparklers. It is truly such a fun experience here unlike anything we have in California. Its a must for anyone who loves to have a good time. I give our experience a 9/10.

Basic food. People definitely come for the ambiance. As soon as 10pm hits the "club" vibes are unbeatable.

Kyma is a jewel of the North Coast. In addition to clear waters and beautiful white sandy beach Kyma has IMPECCABLE service thanks to well trained staff. Special thanks to Wael who warm & attentive from start to finish. Music- perfect. Mediterranean food - perfect. Highly recommend!!

Love Kyma so much. Service is always spot on, menu is always done perfectly, and it's a class act in a city of ever changing restaurants and service levels. Biggest challenge would be to update bar seating. It's really hard to eat and drink in the low and deep chairs at the bar, but so much else makes up for it.

Fantastic food (quality ingredients with good seasoning and cooked perfectly), great service and a really nice ambiance. It is a bit upscale without being fancy. I would say this is probably the best Greek restaurant we have eaten at in NYC. The staff is on top of it, changing plates and utensils between courses, refilling drinks etc. We were a group of four for dinner and they immediately brought over a basket of warm pita lightly coated in olive oil and spices (I think oregano). We ordered the watermelon salad, trio of dips (hummus, melizanosalata, and tzatziki), zucchini pancakes, hamachi crudo, grape leaves and saganaki. The dips were tasty, the hummus was extremely smooth while the tzatziki had nice thin strips of cucumber in it. The melizanosalata was good, but a bit lacking in flavor compared to the other two. The zucchini pancakes and saganaki were my favorites, super flavorful with great texture. Loved the fig jam with the saganaki. The watermelon salad was also extremely good and refreshing, loved the pairing of feta cheese, walnuts and jalapeno dressing with the watermelon. We enjoyed the hamachi crudo and grape leaves. For entrees, we shared the black sea bass and lamb chops (added a fourth as three come in an order) and substituted the lemon potatoes for the fries. Both were absolutely delectable, but the lamb chops were some of the best I have had in NYC and possibly ever. Cooked to a perfect medium and bursting with flavor. They were thick so you got a good portion of meat and it paired extremely well with the lemon potatoes. The fish was also cooked perfectly (tender and not dry at all) and had a delightful lemon butter sauce that went very well with the fish. It comes de-boned but they keep the head and tail on for presentation. For dessert we ordered the walnut cake with cinnamon ice cream. I am not a dessert person so the rest of the table ate it. The ice cream was great, the cake was a bit too sweet for me (lots of honey), but others enjoyed. Overall it was a really lovely meal, everyone had a great time and adored the food. I would order everything again (especially the zucchini pancakes, saganaki, watermelon salad, lemon potatoes, black sea bass and lamb chops) and will be sure to go back soon!

Anniversary Dinner! My BF chose Kyma to celebrate our anniversary and boy oh boy.... Kyma was the perfect choice! We had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday evening. Perfect timing to enjoy our meal prior to Kyma turning into more of a lively setting. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table. Shortly there after our waiter came over, introduced himself and assisted with a few questions I had about apps and recommended cocktails. After chatting I went with the octopus instead of the calamari and I'm glad I did! The Fava underneath the octopus was to die for. This dish came together so well, I couldn't stop eating it. For my meal I had the Black Seabass with Broccolini. Also very good with large portions allowing me to have a to go bag. Around 8:30ish the lights got dimmer, the tempo of the music changed and the volume turned up! It was also most party timeeee!! We ended our night off with cheesecake brought out with sparklers (to celebrate our anniversary). We both enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!
